Our Mission
Alpine Ventures Real Estate Company was born out of the desire to provide exceptional, personalized service to established and new businesses in greater Nashville, TN. We set out on a mission to put our clients first in every assignment. Years of transaction experience working in both Nashville’s booming urban core and the growing suburbs around the city grant a unique knowledge base that our clients use to help make the most intelligent real estate decisions for their businesses. Today, Alpine continues on this mission to lead the industry in client-first representation and build a better Nashville.
John Maxwell
John Maxwell founded Alpine Ventures in 2020, building upon a decade of commercial real estate experience predominantly focused on retail leasing and tenant representation in Nashville. John has successfully executed tenant rollout strategies for several of Nashville’s most beloved fitness studios, restaurants, bars and retailers. Additionally, John has a breadth of leasing experience ranging from ground-up mixed-use developments in Nashville’s urban core to shopping center leasing in Nashville’s suburbs.
John represents Tenants such as OrangeTheory Fitness, Landry’s Concepts, Valvoline Instant Oil Change and Pet Supplies Plus among others. Additionally, John’s Landlord client list includes Elmington, Highwoods, Magnolia Investment Partners, Endeavor Real Estate Group, and AEG Worldwide.
Before founding Alpine, John worked in CBRE’s Nashville office and prior to that with Nashville-based Baker Storey McDonald Properties.
In his time away from work, John enjoys time with his wife, Sam, and their three young children. Outside of work and spending time with his family, you can often find John on the golf course, running in Percy Warner Park, or watching an Atlanta Braves baseball game.
An Atlanta native, John attended the Westminster Schools before graduating from Wake Forest University.
Ross Brown
Ross Brown joined Alpine Ventures in 2024 as an Associate, with primary focus on agency leasing and a supportive tenant representation role for the firm’s occupier-clients.
Prior to joining Alpine, Ross spent four years in the golf industry at high end private golf clubs throughout the southeast where he was able to thrive as a result of his dedication to service and attention to detail. A 2020 graduate of Mississippi State University, Ross majored in Business Marketing with an emphasis in PGA Golf Management.
Ross is a New Orleans native, but now resides in Nashville with his wife Anna Grace. Outside of the office, Ross enjoys cheering on the New Orleans Saints, playing golf, and exploring Nashville’s music scene.
